In the absence of an agency construction manager, Infinity acted as the lead contractor coordinating the project’s difficult schedule with the MEP Prime contractors. Despite over 6 weeks of material fabrications delays that Infinity expedited outside its contract, we delivered the building in time to facilitate the College’s start of classes in August of 2013. We self-performed rough and finish carpentry. We made extensive use of mock-ups to assure that instructor stations met college expectations. We recycled more than 84% of construction waste as part of the LEED certification effort.
