MetroHealth Emergency Department

This 11,900-sf, three-Phase renovation took place in the Emergency Department on the Main Campus ground floor. Scope included 5 exam rooms, 2 family rooms, 6 triage rooms, reception, waiting area, and relocation of the MetroHealth Police Department to the waiting room.   Renovations also included streamlining the patient entrance and registration areas, as well as adding two family/grieving rooms.Services included general conditions, framing, drywall, ceilings, painting, flooring, FF&E, MEP, coordination of third-parties for hospital equipment installation, safety, and ICRA controls.

This was a multi-phased expansion to a fully-occupied 24/7 emergency department. After the project began the Owner authorized a re-design adding a new main entrance with integrated safety and security. The main entrance required close daily coordination to maintain client safety and ICRA standards. Infinity  self-performed  selective demolition and carpentry. Achieved 42.4% diverse subcontracting participation. Returned unspent contingency at the end of the project.
