Infinity served as CMAR for two buildings on the Euclid Schools High School campus. Fordyce is a 26,900-sf two story school administration building. Its first floor includes a reception area, the school board room, a conference center, and staff offices. Also, a mail room, and restrooms. On the second floor are more offices, a conference room, vault, and restrooms. Also, a new exterior curtain wall. Memorial is an adaptive reuse. The former two-story, 47,000-sf elementary school is now a student services building. The first-floor houses mental health, social workers, counselling offices, and a food and clothing pantry. Also, security, and detention and suspension classrooms. Also, Thrive Academy, a teaching kitchen, and a lunch room. The second floor provides classes for students with children, adult diploma, career-based intervention, testing classrooms, and virtual classrooms. Also, a community room. Both floors have new restroom suites. Both buildings received new roofs and HVAC systems.
Our VRV heating and cooling option saved 20-30% in first and maintenance costs over traditional roof top units. Existing drawings were not accurate which required a custom rework of HVAC duct. We discovered unknown asbestos. We had to re-sequence the trades to make up for that delay. Work completed in 7.5 months, inclusive of design, and completed on time. We achieved 36% diverse subcontracting participation.
