Office Headquarters Renovation

Project details

Infinity served as Construction Manager At-Risk for the complete interior demolition and re-construction of this building that the client recently acquired in Westlake, Ohio.  Phase I involved the relocation of two existing building tenants to consolidate space for Echo’s use.  Phase II was a gut renovation that provided open plan offices in the center, private offices in the perimeter, conference spaces, kitchen and dining areas, and several unique architectural features and finishes.  In total, 17,111-sf was renovated with this project.

This project was phased beginning with the relocation of two existing tenants.  Next Infinity completed demolition before construction documents were complete to accelerate the construction schedule.  Infinity carpenters self-performed the carpentry and drywall.  During construction we worked around two existing tenants to minimize disruption to their continued operations.  Demolition uncovered the unexpected need for floor repair and leveling which we completed in the same time frame by re-sequencing the schedule.  The greatest challenge was late arrival of skylights delivered after the client took occupancy.  Working second shift we were able to complete the work within seven days in time for the client’s open house.  Achieved 33% diverse subcontractor participation.
