Infinity served as Design Builder for this prototype vehicle maintenance facility under a contract with the Cuyahoga Cleveland Port Authority. The scope includes a pre-manufactured 38,000-sf operations building with heated and cooled service bays, a wash bay, a welding bay, and vehicle storage with attached administrative offices; unheated material storage; mix building; a 26,000-cold storage building, a 9,900-sf, 6,000-ton salt storage structure; and a diesel/gasoline fueling station. The project called for a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) after design development and involved the design and construction of multiple buildings on a 6-acre site in Euclid, Ohio at Babbitt Road and St. Clair Avenue. Site improvements included pavement, security, landscaping and fencing.
This LEED® Silver project incorporates a 2,800 SF green roof, two large bio-retention areas, unique terraced plaza with seat walls, pedestrian entry plaza, and alternative fuel parking stations and spaces. Highly energy efficient glass provides ample natural lighting. This project was a pilot for STEP (Sustainable Technology Environments Program).

Infinity provided value engineering and constructability assessments to achieve the owner’s budget prior to construction. We provided a GMP when design documents were 70% complete. The project completed within its 12-month time frame. Diverse subcontractor participation exceeded 20%.
