Infinity served as General Contractor for this stand-alone building renovation at 1324 Polaris Parkway in Columbus, Ohio. The scope included gut renovation, followed by construction of new offices, meeting rooms, transaction rooms, support areas, a café, reception lobby and waiting. All-new rooftop HVAC and refresh of the building exterior.
The construction start was delayed by nearly 8 months due to COVID. Subsequently, it encountered subcontractor labor shortages and procurement delays. The project was phased to allow the office to remain occupied. Infinity self-performed demolition and carpentry. Achieved 22% diverse subcontracting participation. Despite escalation over what turned out to be a 13-month period from original bid to completion, we held the project costs within budget.
