New Corporate Headquarters

Project details

Infinity served as CMAR for this Fortune 500 corporate headquarters in Beachwood. The work began with gut interior demolition. The high-end renovation includes a spacious reception area with a custom display wall. Also, there are perimeter and open offices with Infinium® glass wall fronts, three conference rooms, the boardroom, a café, a server room, a wellness center, and new restrooms. The featured area, comprising about one-third of the space, is a product “ideation” room, design center, and collaboration display area featuring an entire product library.

The coffered ceiling in the elevator lobby required a high degree of craft skill. We collaborated closely with the Client who supplied much of the millwork. The only access to the third floor is through a single-passenger elevator. So, we received materials and disposed of construction waste by hoisting through a removed window. We assembled an early bid package to complete demolition and eliminate unknowns. This helped subcontractors to bid on the project more competitively. It revealed that the floor was severely out of level and unsuitable for polishing as the design intended. We are helping the project team price a new solution. Infinity self-performed 22% of the scope, including rough and finish carpentry and millwork. Diverse firms put 35% of the work-in-place.
