New Police and Fire Safety Center

Project details

Infinity is serving as CMAR.  This project involves constructing a new 40,000-sf Police & Fire/EMS Safety Facility.  It will feature six two-sided fire station apparatus bays.  The scope also includes a police vehicle carport.  The existing Sunset Drive, a dead-end street, will become a fully dedicated public street connecting Copley Road to South Cleveland Massillon Road.  All new utilities are underground.  The project also includes a new large retention pond.  Upon its completion, the scope will involve adaptive reuse of the current Fire Department Vehicle Bays at the Village Hall into a new community meeting center.

After six months of preconstruction, we delivered the GMP below the Owner’s budget. Construction began in November 2023. We placed early orders for all long-lead items, including HVAC, electrical switchgear, and emergency power generators. We are ahead of schedule for February 2025 completion. Diverse firms are putting 30% of the work in place. The project is 87% complete as of December 31, 2024.
