Infinity served as CMAR. This project involved constructing 60′ x 77′, two-story, 9,240-sf addition to the east side of the current building at 11111 Kinsman Road converting a former parking lot. It includes six dorm rooms, two changing rooms, lockers, restrooms, a fitness center, five offices, a conference room, a reinforced storm shelter, staff kitchen and dining area, a large community/staff training room, and IT room. The building features a relocated main entrance that separates the public from firehouse operations. The project will complete in approximately 8-months, by the end of 2023.

Infinity worked in preconstruction for about one year before starting construction in April 2023. Our collaborative estimating efforts with the Project Team resulted in a guaranted maximum price within the Owner’s budget. In the first stages of construction we encountered a few hidden infrastructure issues. One required internal reinforcement of the existing wall that separates the apparatus bay from the new addition. A second required temporary relocation of the secondary transformer lines, which were encased underground in concrete. This was necessary to maintain power to the existing facility. Diverse subcontractors will put 28% of the construction volume in place.
