Landmark Building Renovation

Project details

Achieved 15% EDGE participation for this very specialized project in Toledo, Ohio, by creative teaming.  Worked though challenging logistics issues to move scissor lifts in and out of two courtyard areas and up the floor floors of the building’s interior stairwell.  The new window frames required custom fabrication to match the building’s original design.  Window glass required extensive use of mock-ups to replace glass used by other contractors who replaced windows on the building’s lower floors.  Project employed the OFCC OAKS-CI reporting system.

This general contracting assignment involved replacement of 341 windows on the top floor of University Hall including 78 “Cloverleaf” windows original to this building which was constructed in 1931.
